Social Media Community Guidelines
Make the Road Action New York (MRANY) believes that everyone, including those who engage with us via our online platforms in our virtual community, deserves respect. All of our spaces are a place for shared learning, politicizing, support, working and strategizing. We fully support the freedom of expression and speech of our users, including any discourse that respectfully challenges a particular position we might take or view we hold.
However, we will not tolerate engagement that violates our values and guidelines detailed below, and we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently block users, hide and/or delete posts, and disengage with users and their messages that encompass the following:

Harassing, bullying, or demeaning other commenters or groups of people, including MRANY staff and clients, including but not limited to on the basis of race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

Threatening or suggesting violence or harm, directly or indirectly, to another person.

Comments that are misleading or contain falsehoods and/or inaccurate information

Confidential, personally identifying, or private information as defined by state law.

Advertisements, promotions, or solicitations of a commercial product or service.

Spam and/or repetitive content.

Unlawful obscenity or profanity.
Suspected bot accounts will also be blocked.
Before posting, make sure you have the right to post protected intellectual property, including copyrights, trademarks and service marks.
Attachments of graphic images and videos included in messages will be deleted for the safety of our social media team.
